PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt aqueous solution that causes no blockade of a pipe for feeding a halogenated alkyl, when the quaternary ammonium salt is produced. SOLUTION: This invention is a method for producing the unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt aqueous solution by using a (meth)acrylic alkylaminoester, a halogenated alkyl and water, as starting materials, wherein the halogenated alkyl is directly introduced through the halogenated alkyl-introducing pipe into the (meth)acrylic alkylaminoester only or into a mixed solution containing the (meth)acrylic alkylaminoester.
