FIXED BED TYPE METHANE FERMENTATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed bed type methane fermentation system capable of uniformly feeding a liquid-like substance of an organic waste to a fixed bed and enhancing a gas production ratio. SOLUTION: The methane fermentation system is provided with a filling tank part 16 filled with a porous filling material deposited with methane fermentation fungi; a fixed bed type methane fermentation tank 15 having a cavity-like mixing tank part 17 provided at a lower part of the filling tank part 16; and a circulation system 19 circulating the liquid substance 12 of the organic waste in the methane fermentation tank 15 while taking out it from an upper part of the filling tank part 16 of the fixed bed type methane fermentation tank 15 and returning to the mixing tank part 17. The system has a circulation pump 31 and a heating part 32 for heating the circulated liquid-like substance 12 on the circulation system 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
