PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical evaporator having good evaporating performances. SOLUTION: This chemical evaporator 10 is equipped with a chemical holder 14 holding an insect pest controlling ingredient, a fan 12 for exposing the chemical holder 14 to an air current and a chamber 11 housing the chemical holder 14 and the fan 12 and having a suction port 19 for taking in the open air into the interior and an exhaust port 16 for releasing the air current containing the insect pest controlling ingredient to the outside.
