HEAT-RESISTANT LUBRICATING COATING AGENT AND THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant lubricating coating agent which has proper heat resistance and lubricity and which enables the formation of a heat-resistant lubricating protective layer with a small risk of the production of chips by a thermal head and the adhesion/fusion bond of the chips to the thermal head, and a thermal transfer recording medium with the heat-resistant lubricating protective layer.

SOLUTION: This heat-resistant lubricating coating agent comprises a polydimethylsiloxane-based copolymer, which has an at least 12C long-chain alkyl group.
