PORTABLE DEVICE WITH HANDLE, RECORDING APPARATUS, AND LIQUID JETTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a case and a handle for carrying in a portable device whose handle for carrying is attached to the case that constitutes the device's appearance.

SOLUTION: A printer as the portable device is equipped with the handle 6 for carrying which is pivotally supported by bearing parts formed at right and left side walls of the case that constitutes the appearance. A side housing left 11 which constitutes the case has a plate 12 mounted to be freely attachable and detachable. The bearing part 22 for pivotally supporting an axial part 6b of the handle 6 is formed in a flange shape to project outside to penetrate a hole 12b formed in the plate 12. A load is dispersed between the bearing part 22 to which the weight of the printer itself acts and the axial part 6b, and therefore stress concentration is prevented. Moreover, the flange shape of the bearing part 22 is supported also by the plate 12, so that the strength is improved furthermore.
