<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and set mode setting conditions displayed on an LCD without using a touch panel key, and to perform realization by reduced operation as compared to conventional technology having a similar purpose. <P>SOLUTION: Keys of a number corresponding to the number of rows and columns of a display item (function) vertically and horizontally arranged in a matrix state on a display screen of the LCD are made to approach a display window 10w, and are provided as a vertical key group 12v and a horizontal key group 12h. At least respective one keys are selected from the respective key groups 12v, 12h and are pressed down. A control part detecting that operation recognizes that a function of a position wherein the detected row and column cross is selected, and performs mode setting or the like.
