PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly eliminate feeling of discomfort of a person in a room by supplying a space to be air-conditioned with the air having suitable air-conditioning capability. SOLUTION: According to the information from a chair with a transmitting function provided in the room, the position and the number of persons in the room are detected. The actual load of air-conditioning in the room is obtained. According to increase and decrease in the number of persons in the room, the number of increased or decreased persons is multiplied by a predetermined thermal load per person to obtain an increase or decrease in thermal load, and the increased or decreased amount of thermal load is added to the actual load to obtain air-conditioning load. The quantity of blown air supplied to the interior corresponding to the air-conditioning load is determined. On the basis of the position of the persons in the room, a wind-direction of air supplied to the interior of the room is fixed to the direction of the supplied air pointing to the persons in the room (e.g. to the center of gravity of the person staying in the room).
