PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure flash photographing in which a photographing angle is switched by using a photographing device that adopts a deflection optical system. SOLUTION: When a mirror 120 in which a photographing mirror and an illuminating mirror are integrally formed is at a front position 120-1, illuminating light emitted by an illuminating part 150 is reflected from the photographing mirror and emitted to a subject as illuminating light A117. When incident light A116 arriving from a subject is reflected from the photographing mirror and enters the camera, a photographing optical part 166 forms the image of the subject. In the case where the mirror 120 is rotated to a rear position 120-2, illuminating light from the illuminating part 150 is reflected from the photographing mirror and emitted to a camera user, or a subject, as illuminating light B147. When incident light B146 arriving from the camera user is reflected from the photographing mirror and enters the camera, the photographing optical part 166 forms the image of the camera user.
