PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic paper display device capable of sending out suitable image information even to electronic paper with different property and also sending out image information having the same contents to a plurality of sheets of electronic paper from a single main body. SOLUTION: The electronic paper display device is equipped with electronic paper 26 which is a flexible display medium, an electronic paper display unit part 20 which displays image information on the electronic paper 26, and an electronic paper control unit part 10 which transmits the image information to the electronic paper display unit part 20; and the electronic paper display unit part 20 transmits property information of the electronic paper 26 to the electronic paper control unit part 10, which transmits image information having properly been edited based upon the property information of the electronic paper 26 transmitted from the electronic paper display unit part 20 to the electronic paper display unit part 20.
