PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted camera which enables a photographer to perform photographing in a simple manner while enabling the photographer itself to enjoy a photographing scene without feeling a load at the photographing. SOLUTION: The head-mounted camera is provided with: a first imaging section 30 including a first photographing optical system 31 whose focal distance is variable and a CCD 87 for converting an object image formed by the first photographing optical system 31 into an image signal; a see-through image display section 6 for displaying a photographing image frame denoting a photographing range as a virtual image in a way that the photographer can be superimposed on an object substantially directly to be observed; a remote control section 5 including a second operation switch 131 to set and operate a visual angle of the photographing image frame viewed from the photographer; and a control/recording section 4 including a first CPU 11 for setting the focal distance of the first photographing optical system 31 so that the visual angle of the photographing image frame set by the second operation switch 131 is coincident with the photographing angle of view of the first imaging section 30.
