PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the demands of speeding up and lowering voltage of a cyclic type AD converter. SOLUTION: An input analog signal Vin is inputted into a first amplifier circuit 11 and an AD conversion circuit 12. The circuit 12 converts the inputted analog signal into the digital value of the predetermined number of bits, and outputs the value to an encoder (not shown). A DA conversion circuit 13 converts the digital value of the predetermined bits outputted from the circuit 12 into an analog signal. An amplifier circuit 11 samples the inputted analog signal to amplify the signal intoα(value exceeding 1) times. A subtracting circuit 14 subtracts an output of the circuit 13 amplified intoαtimes from an output of the amplifier circuit 11. A second amplifier circuit 15 amplifies an output of the circuit 13 intoβtimes and feeds it back to the circuit 12. The value ofαis set at a value smaller than the value ofβ.
