[PROBLEMS] To provide a small-size module with a built-in part comprising an external terminal electrode which has a sufficient area and is stably fabricated and excellent in mountability. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A module with a built-in part is produced by providing a cavity (4) in the mounting surface of a ceramic multilayer substrate (1), installing a circuit part (6) in the cavity, and performing resin-molding. On the mounting surface of the ceramic multilayer substrate (1), a second resin section (20) continuously covering a frame section (5) and a first resin section (15) molded together with the frame section (5) is provided, and an external terminal electrode (21) is provided on the outer surface of the second resin section (20).
