The grip has two double-levers with the two arms connected to each other via an articulated joint (12, 13), one of the lever arms acting as a fixed grip jaw (5, 6) and the other lever arm acting as a movable grip jaw (7, 8) for engaging with the rim of the vessel (1). The double levers are connected to opposite ends of a U-shaped bracket used as a handle.
