Automobile light weight parking pallet for automated car park minimizes the essential strength and complexity of the associated mechanical handling system

A multi-storey car park employs a palletized mechanical handling system for the positioning and retrieval of cars. Each pallet consists of a main frame (1) with a front (7) and rear (6) panel and two or more longitudinal beams (3,4) and wheel supporting surfaces (2) supported by the main frame. The wheel support surfaces are made of modular profiled flat components (11) which interlock with the beams.
