Message-filtering computers (102-104) detect a prompt/request message requiring electronic peer-to-peer (P2P) data files and created according to a preset P2P communications protocol. The P2P request message is sent as a data packet (DP) to computers (201-207) in a fixed communications network (200). The DP has a packet header and real data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A computer program product with codes for operating the method of the present invention; (B) and for a communications system for using a message-filtering computer to process a prompt message delivered to the message-filtering computer by a mobile telephone (MT) in an MT network.
