<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful bird averting liquid-applying device for a transmission line pylon that enables possible effective prevention of birds from flying into the transmission line pylon. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an operation rod 1, an applying portion 10 attached to the end of the operation rod 1, and a harmful bird avoiding liquid supplying portion 2 that supplies a harmful bird avoiding liquid to the applying portion 10. This applying portion 10 is pivotted to the top end of a frame 12 and attached to the frame 12 mounted with a shaft on the end of the operation rod 1, in such a way as to be freely rotatable in up and down directions, a pair of right and left rollers 13 that contact the top surface of the horizontal portion of an angle material structuring the transmission line pylon, and a roll that, having a smaller diameter than the roller 13, is attached on the top forked portion of the frame 12 to contact the top surface of the upright portion of the angle material.
