PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a more excellent lithographic printing material which is not affected by setting and drying conditions in an applying and drying step in manufacture of a lithographic printing material provided with antistatic performance by applying a layer containing a carbon black on a rear surface. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the lithographic printing material having at least one layer containing a conductive carbon black on one surface of a support and a silver halide photographic sensitive layer applied on the opposite surface of the support, after applying the layer containing the conductive carbon black and before applying the silver halide photographic sensitive layer on the opposite surface, the support is electrified or subjected to corona discharge treatment under conditions of a high frequency of≥15 kHz and a watt density of≥15 W min/m<SP>2</SP>.
