PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable liquid crystal display device 1 by relaxing stress on a liquid crystal panel caused by a difference in a coefficient of linear expansion of the liquid crystal panel and that of a metal frame 6 and improving display quality. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 is provided with the liquid crystal panel and the metal frame 6 to to which the liquid crystal panel is attached, the liquid crystal panel being fixed to the metal frame with a resin 12, wherein a protrusion part 11 is formed on an inner side face of the metal frame and the resin is applied onto a region where the protrusion part is not formed.
