PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor of a worker for replacing a base isolation device, by performing the horizontal movement of the base isolation device for removing an existing base isolation device and arranging a new base isolation device by a tool of a simple constitution in a state of jacking up an upper structure part of a base isolation part. SOLUTION: This replacing tool 1 of the base isolation device (a) is composed of a jack support frame 3 for inwardly formed a space capable of arranging the base isolation device by separably incorporating a plurality of steel materials, a lifting jack 4 placed on the jack support frame 3 and vertically movably supporting the base isolation device (a) by abutting on an upper flange (c) of the base isolation device (a) surrounded by this jack support frame 3, and a wheel 5 installed in a lower part of the jack support frame 3. Assembling and disassembling can be performed around the base isolation device (a), and the replacing tool supported by lifting this base isolation device (a) can be horizontally moved.
