PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a decorative material 1 raising working efficiency without impairing the beauties of surface parts 6 and 6, taking time for temporarily mounting decorative materials 1 and 1 without being influenced by the hardening time of an adhesive 2 when at least two decorative materials 1 and 1 are arranged adjacent to each other to adhere to a wall body 10 through the adhesive 2. SOLUTION: In the construction method of the decorative material for decorating the wall body 10 by mounting it on a decorated surface of the wall body 10 of a house by adhesion, a double-sided adhesive tape 3 is stuck on a part as a joint 4 between at least two decorative materials 1 and 1 arranged adjacent to each other and mounted on the decorated surface of the wall body 10 so as to cover the joint part 4 from the rear sides 5 and 5 of the decorative materials 1 in advance, and the construction method of the decorative materials is constituted by sticking them on the decorated surface of the wall body 10 after the adhesives 2 are applied on the rear sides 5 and 5 of the decorative materials.
