PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating ratio by easily adjusting the axis of a cylindrical body in the vertical direction to shorten the adjustment time. SOLUTION: A suspension device comprises a lifting rod 1 in which an external thread section 1a is formed at the outer periphery of a lower end section, a base member 2 mounted to the external thread section 1a, an air picker (holder) 3 that is mounted to the external thread section 1a at the lower portion of the base member 2 and grasps the upper end section of a photoreceptor drum (cylindrical body) K, a support member 7 that is arranged at the lower portion of the base member 2 and has a reference plane 71 for supporting the axis of the photoreceptor drum K in a specific direction by coming into contact with the upper end face of the photoreceptor drum K grasped by the air pick 3, and an inclination adjusting means 8 that connects the support member 7 to the base member 2 and adjusts the axis of the photoreceptor drum K supported by the reference plane 71 in the vertical direction by adjusting the inclination of the support member 7.
