<p>A transmitter part emits, into a space to be searched, a radar wave that has been pulse modulated by a trigger pulse of a predetermined width and that has a predetermined frequency. A receiver part receives a reflected version of the radar wave to output a received signal. A local pulse generator part outputs a local pulse signal that has been pulse modulated by the trigger pulse as delayed by a delay part and that has the predetermined frequency. A correlated value determining part determines a correlated value in strength between the received signal and the local pulse signal. A delay time changing part sequentially changes the delay times within a range of the predetermined period that is a period in which the trigger pulse occurs. A correlated value storing part stores the correlated value as determined for each of the changed delay times. A frequency distribution producing part produces a frequency distribution for the delayed times of the stored correlated values. A search control part analyzes, based on the produced frequency distribution, the space to be searched.</p> |
