Band spacing reference power supply uses bipolar transistors to generate a reference current

The band spacing-reference circuit used to generate a reference current [Iref] has a pair of bipolar transistors [T1,T2] with a common base connection to a fixed reference. The collectors [C1,C2] are coupled top a current ratio circuit [15,16] that set the proportional values. The emitters [E1,E2] connect to provide a summed current resulting in the reference current.
