The lighting unit has a light bulb [15] set at the centre of a circular reflector disc [2] that has a series of zig-zag shaped concentric rings [16]. The disc is of polycarbonate and the surfaces are coated with aluminium. The coating may be made such that the first segment [3.1] has a lower focal point than that of the second segment [3.2].
