<p>The invention concerns a motor vehicle folding roof, comprising rigid front roof element (2) and rear roof element (3) mobile between a position wherein they cover the vehicle passenger compartment and a position wherein they are stowed in the vehicle rear deck. The rear part of the rear roof element is guided by a first guide rail (8) integral with the vehicle structure and its front part articulated on an arm (9) mounted pivoting on the vehicle chassis about a pin (11) transverse to the vehicle longitudinal axis and the front roof element (2) carries a second guide rail (5) and is mounted sliding on a third guide rail (6) integral with the rear element.</p>
