<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which agglomeration or deterioration of developer is prevented and the sealability of a sealing part is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a first casing which stores developer and has an image carrier and a developer carrier for supplying the developer to the image carrier; a second casing which is disposed freely attachably/detachably to/from the first casing and stores developer; and a developer supply member 28 for supplying the developer in the second casing into the first casing. When the amount of use of the developer under an image forming condition in which the amount of use of the developer is maximum is 1[W], the amount of supply of the developer by the developer supply member 28 is in the range of 2[W] to 10[W]. Since the amount of supply of the developer is kept within the predetermined range, agglomeration or deterioration of the developer can be prevented in both high print duty and low print duty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
