<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera server which enables a user to connect the camera server to a network only by accessing only a single URL without being conscious of connection configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The camera server is provided with: a network interface for connecting to a network; a storage device for storing document data; a temporary storage device for temporarily storing document data for rewriting; a data rewriting means for rewriting the document data; a Web server function for transmitting the document data; a network address calculating means for calculating a network address from the IP address of a connected browser; and a comparing means for comparing the network address of the browser with the network address of the camera server, wherein the IP address to be used for rewriting the document data is changed according to the network address of the browser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
