PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification apparatus capable of notifying an incoming call type, its control method, a control program and a recording medium with said control program recorded thereon. SOLUTION: An incoming call type notification apparatus 10 comprises: a transmission unit 20 for transmitting by radio incoming call type specification information based on information indicating a type of an incoming call inputted from a portable telephone set 100; and a reception unit 30 which discriminates an incoming call type based on the incoming call type specification information and notifies the incoming call type.
