PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of a cyclic type AD converter. SOLUTION: An input analog signal is inputted to an amplifier circuit 11 and an AD conversion circuit 12. The AD conversion circuit 12 converts the inputted analog signal into a digital value of the prescribed number of bits and outputs the digital value to an encoder which is not shown. A DA conversion circuit 13 converts the digital value of the prescribed number of bits which is outputted from the AD conversion circuit 12 into an analog signal. The amplifier circuit 11 samples the inputted analog signal and amplifies the analog signal byα(a value exceeding "1") times.
