PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM demodulator which obtains a high-accuracy channel estimate even when the FFT starts at a time within a guard interval for smoothing the channel estimates to remove noise components. SOLUTION: A phase estimator circuit 9 estimates the phase of a channel estimate outputted from a channel estimator circuit 5 from the channel estimate outputted from the channel estimator circuit 5. A phase inverter circuit 10 turns the channel estimate outputted from the channel estimator circuit 5 in the reverse direction to a stationary phase turning direction by a turn corresponding to the phase estimated by the phase estimator circuit 9 to delete the phase turn of the channel estimate. A phase restorer circuit 11 turns the phase of a channel estimate outputted from a low-pass filter 6 by the phase estimated by the phase estimator circuit 9 to return the phase-turn of the channel estimate to the state of the phase-turn outputted from the channel estimator circuit 5.
