摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase accuracy of deviation compensation of an endless belt even when using a binary sensor and notify a dirty condition of a roller based on the result of detection of deviation amount of the endless belt by the binary sensor. SOLUTION: This recording medium conveyance device is provided with the endless belt whose side end part is formed into a non-linear shape and a plurality of rollers for conveying a recording medium on the endless belt by spreading the endless belt and rotating it. It is also provided with a belt moving part for moving the endless belt in the direction crossing the direction of rotation orthogonally by fluctuating tensile force for the endless belt. Furthermore, it is provided with the optical binary sensor arranged so as to oppose to the side end part of the endless belt formed into the non-linear shape to detect the presence or absence of the endless belt.
