The invention relates to an embossing station (10) for an embossing installation which is provided for transferring a transfer layer (12) of an embossed sheet (14) onto an element to be embossed, especially a dimensionally stable planar element (16) to be embossed. The inventive embossing station (10) comprises two interspaced support rollers (18) whose axes are parallel relative each other, and at least one deflection roller (22) spaced apart therefrom and having an axis that is parallel relative to that of the support rollers (18).
