The invention relates to a fully variable lift valve controller of a combustion engine, whereby the lift valve controller (Fig. 1) comprises a drive means (1), which effects an oscillating motion of at least one oscillating lever (2) about a bearing axis C3. Said oscillating lever (2) is provided with a roller (2b), and this roller (2b) is actively connected to a bearing surface (5d) of at least one rocker arm (5), which is mounted in a manner that enables it to pivot about a bearing axis C4. Said bearing surface (5d) of the rocker arm (5), starting from an idle travel section (5a), transitions into a lifting section (5c) via a run-up ramp (5b), and the rocker arm is also provided with a pressing surface (5e), whereby the pressing surface (5e) acts upon at least one lift valve (8) via a transfer element (6) mounted therebetween. In addition, an adjusting means (3, 4) is provided with which the position of the bearing axis C4 can be adjusted in a defined manner in the circular arc around the bearing axis C3 whereby determining the active portion of the lifting section (5c) of the rocker arm (5) during the displacement of the oscillating lever (2) and enabling both the opening period as well as the lifting height of the actuated lift valve to be varied. |
