The electrical cable [4] is inserted through a clamping sleeve [11] that has clamping arms at one end [17]. A sealing bush [2] is pushed onto the cable which pushes out a membrane [21b] and fits closely around the cable to prevent the ingress of water. A lock nut [3] applies radial pressure to the clamping arms.
