PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open a synchronous conference (synchronous communication) on a network without previously determining the date of the synchronous conference. SOLUTION: An opening request receiving part 41 receives a request indicating the opening of a synchronous conference together with the specification of a plurality of members allowed to participate in the synchronous conference and registers the received contents in an opening request storage part 42. A judgment part 43a judges whether all members are in on-line or not by monitoring accesses from respective members with user identification information to an asynchronous communication server 10 for providing asynchronous communication environments.
