PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver, a transmitter, a wireless communication system and a power distribution method which realize an increase in communication capacity. SOLUTION: The transmitter is provided with: a reception means for receiving a power distribution value; and a receiver side reception characteristic estimation means for estimating a reception characteristic of the receiver on the basis of the power distribution value, and the receiver is provided with a channel estimation means for generating a channel estimated amount from a received data stream; and a power distribution determining means for determining the power value distributed to each data stream and the throughput at the same time on the basis of the channel estimated amount so that the throughput is maximized.
