PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display element which is capable of miniaturizing by reducing a wiring part dead space for the display drive and reducing a manufacturing cost of a device. SOLUTION: The flat panel display element is provided with pixel regions comprising a plurality of scan lines LSn arranged in a first direction, a plurality of data lines LDn arranged in a second direction vertical to the first direction and pixel electrodes formed by a plurality of the scan lines LSn intersecting a plurality of the data lines LDn, non-pixel regions comprising a plurality of on/off switching elements 500 connected with input terminals of a plurality of the scan lines LSn or a plurality of the data lines LDn corresponding to the respective scan lines LSn or data lines LDn, and a first flat panel display element panel 110 and a second flat panel display element panel 120 comprising a plurality of the scan lines and a plurality of the data lines of the pixel regions.
