PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall joint device capable of being set between both right and left buildings and absorbing oscillation by smooth slide movement to prevent the damage even if the buildings oscillate forward, backward and sideways. SOLUTION: The wall joint device 1 comprises through a hinge member 7 rotatable in the front and back directions of the wall frame body in the joint side of the right and left buildings a central maintaining link 12, a strut 14 pivoted on the central pivot section 11, a plurality of movable joint plate supporting rails 15 and 16 located on the strut 14 and the central section of both right and left wall skeletons, a left movable joint plate 22 slidingly movable to the left outside. a right movable joint plate 23 slidingly movable to the right outside, both right and left fixed joint plates 25 and 26 capable of pulling both right and left movable joint plates 22 and 23 out when the joint section is widened by earthquake or the like and the central joint plate 28 covered so as to put both end sections fixing the central part to both right and left movable joint plate supporting rails 15 and 16 through a supporting base 27 on the front end sections of both right and left fixed joint plates 25 and 26.
