PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle body capable of enhancing the connection strength of a front side member to a hood ridge panel with a small number of parts. SOLUTION: A front side member 1 and a hood ridge panel 3 are bridged each other via a connection member 5. The connection member 5 comprises a strut housing part 7 arranged on the center side in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and reinforcement parts 9 and 9 arranged on the front side and the rear side of the vehicle of the strut housing part 7. The reinforcement part 9 consists of a lower side reinforcement part 35 arranged on the lower side and an upper side reinforcement part 33 arranged on the upper side. By folding both ends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle at an upper portion of the strut housing part 7, and connecting them to the upper side reinforcement part 33, the upper portion of the strut housing part 7 is connected to the upper side reinforcement part via a bent part 16, and the hood ridge panel 3 and the front side member 1 are connected to each other by the bent part 16 and a corner part 18 of the connection member 5.
