<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharger for discharging a liquid in an upward posture, which is highly convenient to practically use, has a relatively simple structure, is reduced in cost, is excellent in a water discharge function, is highly reliable, is reduced in the number of components by the use of an integral container, and further makes use of a versatile PET bottle. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the water discharger 1 for generating a gas by reacting a chemical in a hermetic container 7 consisting of a lid 5 and a container 3 and for discharging the liquid 2 in the hermetic container 7 by the pressure of the gas. It includes a flow path 16 opened on the bottom in the hermetic container 7 for leading the pressurized liquid in the sealed container to a discharger port 15 and a chemical injection mechanism 19 for bringing the chemical 18 into contact with the liquid 2 in the container 3 when the lid is put on.
