<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the installation area of a multifunctional image forming apparatus smaller without spoiling a user's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The multifunctional image forming apparatus is provided with an image recorder for printing image information on recording paper and outputting it, an image reader arranged at the upper part of the image recorder and reading the image information of document paper, a document cover disposed to freely open/close with respect to the image reader and pressing and fixing the document paper to the image reader, an automatic document feeder to consecutively feed several sheets of the document paper to the image reader, and a recording paper ejection part movably disposed at the upper part of the image reader and housing the already printed recording paper outputted from the image recorder.
