<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which devises reduction in noise due to a fan, while suppressing enlarging of an apparatus external dimensions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises an image recording part for recording an image on a recording medium, and an original reading part, provided via a space on the upper part of the image recording part and reading the image of an original. The image forming apparatus has a recording medium storing region for storing the recording medium discharged from the image recording part in the space, and is further provided with a duct for exchanging air in the apparatus, in a region avoiding the recording medium for storing region in the space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
