<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a returnable container for tiles in which packaging work to ridge tiles and corner tiles is easy, and in which they can be efficiently distributed to a construction site. <P>SOLUTION: In this returnable container 10 for tiles, a plurality of partition plates 20 are installed in parallel inside a container main body 10 having an opening 10a in an upper surface, so that tiles 31 and 32 are stored in leaning states between the partition plates 20. In inner surfaces of front and back walls surfaces 11 and 12, a plurality of grooves 16 are formed for the partition plates 20 to be detachably engaged. Cut parts 18 are formed for hands and fingers to be inserted at upper ends of right and left wall surfaces 13 and 14. Hook parts 19 for hands and fingers are formed in outer surfaces of the right and left wall surfaces 13 and 14. When the container main bodies 10 are stacked on each other, a bottom part 15 of the container main body 10 on the upper stage is engaged with the opening on the upper surface of the container main body 10 on the lower stage to be recessed for prescribed size.
