<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an agent interface device for making a response by considering the emotions of a user on the basis of the emotions of the user and the emotions of an agent. <P>SOLUTION: An input determination part 121 determines that inputted language information expresses emotion information. A user cooperativeness control part 123 grasps the emotions of a user by recognizing that the inputted language information expresses emotions. An autonomous cooperativeness control part 124 holds internal conditions configured of the emotions and desires of an agent, and generates the emotions of the agent on the basis of the emotions of the user grasped by the user cooperativeness control part 123 and the internal conditions.
