摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the opening and closing degree of a main valve to facilitate accurate flow rate control in a small flow rate region, and to control a large flow rate of refrigerant. SOLUTION: In this expansion valve, a main valve body 60 and an auxiliary valve body 20 are integrated with each other, and an auxiliary valve element 23 is brought into contact with and separated from an auxiliary valve seat 21 formed on the auxiliary valve body to control the flow rate. The main valve body includes a main valve element 63 brought into contact with and separated from a main valve seat 62 in a main valve chest 61 to be opened and closed. The auxiliary valve body includes an auxiliary valve element brought into contact with and separated from an auxiliary valve seat 22 in an auxiliary valve chest 21 to control the flow rate of the refrigerant. The main valve element is opened and closed by increase and decrease in back pressure of the main valve element caused by the auxiliary valve element, and when the flow rate reaches a predetermined value or more, the main valve element is fully opened. An enlarged diameter part 63b is formed on the main valve element, and a gap between the enlarged diameter part and the inner wall of the main valve chest formed on the main valve body is formed as a passage having a fixed sectional area extending from the main valve chest to the auxiliary valve chest.
