PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition keeping good strength and abrasion resistance and having also high conductivity after curing. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts. wt. rubber component composed of at least one kind of diene-based rubber with 40-100 silica and 25-50 pts. wt. acetylene black having 100-160 m<SP>2</SP>/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N<SB>2</SB>SA).
