SOLUTION: The SiO<SB>2</SB>-B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-ZnO-R<SB>2</SB>O-RO-based lead-free low melting point glass contains SiO<SB>2</SB>of 0.1-8, B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of 30-45, ZnO of 15-35, Li<SB>2</SB>O of 0.1-5, R<SB>2</SB>O (Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O excluding Li<SB>2</SB>O) of 0-10 and RO (MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO) of 10-40, by wt.%, wherein Sn of 0.1-10 and Cu of 0.1-5 by wt.% expressed in terms of oxide can be contained, the weight ratio of (B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>+Li<SB>2</SB>O+R<SB>2</SB>O)/SiO<SB>2</SB>is >8 and≤30, the weight ratio of Li<SB>2</SB>O/SiO<SB>2</SB>is≥0.2 and≤1, the weight ratio of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>/ZnO of≥1 and≤2.5, the coefficient of linear expansion at 30-300°C is (65-95)×10<SP>-7</SP>/°C and the softening point is≥500°C and≤630°C.
