<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle electric component evaluation device capable of reliably evaluating the operation of an in-vehicle electric component not connected to an ECU through a harness as well. <P>SOLUTION: This evaluation device includes an operation command signal output part 7 outputting an operation command signal to the electric component 14 directly connected to the ECU 13 by a substrate, a camera 3 taking a picture of a data output part of the electric component 14, an image processing device 4 extracting an image for detecting an output signal from the picture taken by the camera 3, and a monitor signal comparing part 9 determining whether the electric component 14 operates normally or not based on the operation command signal outputted from the operation command signal output part 7 and the image extracted by the image processing device 4. Thus, the lighting condition of a lamp or the deflecting angle of a pointer of a meter can be detected, and tests on the electric component can be carried out easily and reliably. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
