<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink fountain which can prevent printing unevenness from occurring in such a manner that when a fountain roller becomes eccentric, a gap between the outer peripheral surface and a blade provided on a fountain base is prevented from changing in the axial direction of the fountain roller. <P>SOLUTION: The ring section 31a of a lock arm 31 is relatively rotatably fitted on the shaft 13b of the roller 13 which is supported at a predetermined position of a frame 11. A lock lever 32 is tiltably connected with the arm section 31b of the lock arm 31 by a connecting pin 33, and a lock bolt 34 is screwed with the distal end section of the lock lever 32. A lock pin 45 is attached by a bolt 46 to the side surface of the fountain base 14 which is turnably supported by a supporting shaft 15 at a predetermined position of the frame 11, then, the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric pin 45c of the pin 45 is brought into contact with the head section 35a of a bolt 35 which is screwed with the arm section 31b.
