<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid quantity control unit of a solution capable of electrically controlling the concentration on presence ratio of ions present in the solution to control the liquid quantity with high precision by a relatively simple device. <P>SOLUTION: DC voltage is applied to the solution of which the liquid quantity must be controlled, an anode 6a and a cathode 7a different in electrostratic adsorption capacity are present as electrodes as a set, the potential difference and/or current value between both electrodes is controlled and the liquid quantity of the solution is controlled to a target value by selectively adsorbing either one of the positively and negatively charged substances, which are originally present in the solution, in larger quantities to control the concentration or presence ratio of the ions in the solution to the target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
